Dr. Arnold graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Medicine in 1989. Following a two-year Family Practice residency in Calgary, he moved to Timmins, ON where he opened his family practice, including hospital work. He was first introduced to the field of Occupational Medicine in 1996 when he became a consulting physician to the Pamour Mine owned by Royal Oak. Over the years Dr. Arnold has expanded his Occupational practice and in 2007 he closed his family practice to focus strictly in the field of Occupational Medicine.
Dr. Arnold is an Associate of the Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine, completing this certification in 2019 and is a member of the Medical Review Officer Certification Council, also since 2019. Dr. Arnold has not limited his workload to only Occupational Health but has played an integral role within the Timmins and District Hospital, most recently becoming the Chief of Staff in 2021.
Dr. Arnold also provides Independent Medical Examinations to assist with return-to-work challenges and to provide guidance for employees and employers dealing with difficult medical situations. Dr. Arnold works well with employees, employers, Occupational Health Nurses, and Health Care Providers to safely return employees to the workplace. Dr. Arnold continues to expand his knowledge though numerous workshops, conferences and courses providing him with a very strong understanding of current medical principles, methods, and procedures in delivering medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
As an employee and office manager for DAMPC, Laurie has proven to be a forward thinker, team player and a well-organized individual. She possesses many skills and has a great deal of enthusiasm for her job. She prides herself in quickly and efficiently processing clients throughout the day and ensuring that the office runs smoothly. Laurie is a positive and jovial influence for both staff and clientele.

A recent graduate of Laurentian University, Kaitlyn earned an Honors degree in Physical and Health Education, Human Kinetics. Throughout her academic journey she was a member of the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team.
As an employee of DAMPC, Kaitlyn is responsible for performing post-offering employment testing, assess an individual’s physical capabilities in relation to the specific demands of the workplace.
Outside of work, Kaitlyn has dedicated the last five years to volunteer coaching minor soccer, making a meaningful impact on the development of young athletes. She is the author of Renfrew Minor Soccer Club’s Developmental Training Program for Volunteer Coaches, a comprehensive seven-chapter manual that covers key aspects of coaching, from the fundamentals of skill development to age-specific physical, biomechanical, and physiological changes in athletes.
Jessa joined the DAMPC team in May 2024, bringing with her five years of customer service experience in the optical industry and a strong ability to work in fast-paced environments.
At DAMPC, Jessa serves as a drug collection technician and administers audio, vision, and pulmonary function testing. As a busy mom of two, she values quality family time and enjoys balancing her professional life with her personal passions.
In her free time, Jessa loves spending time outdoors, whether camping or simply enjoying nature. She is a well-rounded and dynamic member of the team.
Douglas Arnold MPC can complete your MTO driver’s medical as part of your regular re-exam or for a change of class.
If you have any commercial vehicle driver’s licence other than a class D licence, you must pass a medical examination every one to five years, depending on your age.
